On Labor Day we decided to have a little family outing to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. William loves animals and calls all of the "goggy" or "nooooooh" (doggy or cow). So, be it a dog, cat, horse, or even a bug, in William's world it is one of two things, a doggy or a cow. When we first got to the zoo he did exactly what I expected, calling all the animals we saw "goggy" or "noooh." After about an hour, though, I think he began to figure out that they were different and just waited patiently for us to stop the stroller and point out whatever there was to see at the exhibit. William's favorites were the meerkats and the marmosets. Both are little animals that like to run around a lot. William just giggled and giggled as he watched them. After 4 hours of walking around William fell asleep in his stroller and Mommy really wanted to get off her feet so we headed home, but it was a great day! We are thinking that next summer we will get a season pass.

William was in a posing mood because it was the beginning of the day. Isn't this a great picture?!

And then, in the afternoon, not long before he fell asleep, he is wiggly and silly. And no, we are not the exhibit. We are standing next to a monkey exhibit, but our little monkey would not cooperate for us to get a picture with him AND them.
These are the only lions we could find at the zoo, the drinking fountains. Oh well, William had more fun with them then he would have seeing real lions.
