My little Anne Shirley
"It's because you're too heedless and impulsive, child, that's what. You never stop to think--whatever comes into your head to say or do you say or do it without a moment's reflection." (Mrs. Lynde)
"Oh, but that's the best of it," protested Anne. "Something just flashes into your mind, so exciting, and you must out with it. If you stop to think it over you spoil it all."
The other day Marie crawled up to the stair and attempted to climb them and succeeded. First try. No hesitation. Up she went. All seven stairs.
There is a bruise on the right side of her head that has been there for about a month now. Everytime it is close to healing she manages to hit her head on something new, usually because she is trying to go after something and forgets to take notice of the wall, or the chair, or the table, that happens to be in the way.
Check back in ten years and you just might find out that she has dyed her hair green.

Lydia is getting to be that curious too. She is totally running into everything now that she is more mobile. For that reason I'm glad for the helmet.
