Strawberries for Sam (and Anne)

With our house on the market, we did not plant a garden this year. The only work we did was attempt to keep down the weeds and put up a little fence per our realtor's advice. Therefore, the only thing we had a chance at harvesting was the perennial strawberries. Sam took it upon himself to help with said harvest.

Big sister thought this was a marvelous idea and joined in. As she picked and ate and picked and ate she kept saying, "Plink, plank, plunk." (Referencing "Blueberries for Sal", one of my favorite children's books ever and one she received for Christmas in 2013). It made my heart very happy.

Every bit of this moment made my heart happy.
